Ahead of its release this summer, Universal Pictures has unveiled the official trailer for Jurassic World Dominion. Watch it below.

The clip begins with the voice of the late Richard Attenborough’s Dr. John Hammond echoing through the ages. “I wanted to show them something that wasn’t an illusion,” he says as Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady comes across a dinosaur and its baby on the US mainland. “Something that was real. Something that they could see and touch. Creation is an act of sheer will. Life… will find a way,”

However, the biggest moment in the trailer arrives halfway through, with the reunion between Laura Dern as Dr. Ellie Sattler and Sam Neill as Dr. Alan Grant from the original 1993 film that started it all. And Jeff Goldblum is back as Dr. Ian Malcolm, too, with an ominous warning. “We’re racing toward the extinction of our species,” he says, while giving a lecture on the obvious downsides of creating genetically engineered dinosaurs for fun. “We not only lack dominion over nature, we’re subordinate to it.”

The gang ultimately gets back together, joining Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire Dearing as they race dinosaurs by motorcycle, airplane, truck, and foot. And of course, the trailer wouldn’t be complete without the reemergence of the T-Rex — this time even bigger and badder than the one let loose in 1993’s Jurassic Park.

“Don’t move,” Pratt and Neill warn the group in tandem as the massive dinosaur steps out of the shadows and Goldblum quietly quips, “Bigger. Why do they always have to go bigger?”

Last November, Universal released a five-minute prologue clip setting up the events of Jurassic World Dominion. The film follows 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom as the third and final act in the Jurassic World trilogy, and is set to hit theaters nationwide on June 10th.
